Mount Edgecombe Vintage Car Show - Sunday 5th August 2012

This event was very well attended and for once the weather, though a bit showery at times, on the whole was sunny. Mount Edgecombe is a lovely venue and has walks around the grounds and onto Kingwear.

  1. What’s the model of that beautiful car in the third photo? It looks similar to a Ford Model T. Anyway, I am stunned by the fact that this antique car is still in a good shape! The very classic appeal of that auto made it stand out among the rest. Classic!

  2. Even if your car doesn't win an award in shows like this, just being invited here and getting the chance to have your car displayed with other cars makes you a winner in your own right. The great thing about events like this is that the owners get to show their handiwork to other people, and in return, the people get the chance to appreciate these vehicles, which can actually be considered works of art. People deserve to see such beautiful creations with their own eyes. :)

  3. It was definitely a lucky day, and it seemed like the weather is conniving to make that car show as successful as it possibly could. Looking at the cars with escalade doors, I must say that the exhibit covered cars from different timelines. This is really cool! =)

  4. What a perfect spot to host a vintage car show. The cloudy sky just makes the setting and ambience blurry, dreamlike, and very vintage. I guess the oldest car that was restored is that old tractor. But hey, look at that glossy hulk… it looks spectacular!
