East Prawle Sunday 27th March 2011

This walk started at East Prawle, Near Kingsbridge.  We parked the car at the green and headed down the lane towards the coast.  suddenly we had a fantastic view of the coast. Walking down the hill, we followed the path on the cliff top between the rocks on one side and the sea on the other.

The Pigs Nose Pub and the village green

Lannacombe Bay

What a view!

We spied some goats!!

Then the path turned upwards and became very steep indeed!!
pleased with myself as I have made it up the steep slope

However, we enjoyed all the violets, the goats, the peacock butterfly and an endangered beetle!  Oh, and a pub lunch at the Pig's Nose!!

  1. Glad to see public hostelries featuring in your walks again. Gorgeous blue skies. The quality miles are the ones that go upwards
