Driving between Plymouth and Exeter, the road cuts through Haldon Forest and apart from the race course and deer crossing signs, I have never explored further.
So it was a pleasant surprise to find a thriving Haldon Forest Park managed by the Forestry Commission!
Plenty of car parking, lots to explore with walking trails, cycling. high wire adventure playground, cafe, picnic tables etc.

Nice place. If there are accessible Holiday Lets in Shaldon near that attraction. I would be glad to rent it.
